Overview:

INTEREP needed a custom internal tool to help manage their employees’ workflow. This custom-developed “Check In” tool allows employees to check in with their managers, rate their day, track their accomplishments, request vacation time, and more.

Challenges:

  • This project revolved heavily around dates and times, with certain fields and information only being shown at certain times of the week, month, quarter, and year. Additionally, the application needed to account for both server-side time and client-side time and reconcile differences when applicable.
  • The Check-in application is constantly evolving as new features are added and changes to existing features are requested. It was built with flexibility and modularity in mind so that it can be ready to adjust to changes and new features as needed.
